Alaskan Cruise, Homemade Sushi, and a New Camera.

If you missed last month's update, find it here: Working Hard to Make Our Dreams Come True.

We both spent the beginning of the month working. We also bought a new camera for our upcoming trip! We walked around the block testing out our new camera. We wanted to know how to use it before going on our cruise.

This month our vegan guide is for Prague, Czech RepublicPrague is one of our favourite places we visited in Europe. We probably say that about just about every place we visited but as far as cities go, Prague is excellent. That's why we made a guide showing off some of the best vegan places in Prague.  (Remember we share a new Vegan Guide the second Sunday of every month). Next month is Zagreb, Croatia. Check back October 8th.

We caught the ferry to Vancouver and spent the night at the Grouse Inn, then made our way to the cruise terminal! We embarked on our 7 night Alaskan Cruise. We will be working on those posts shortly! We saw some really cool towns in Alaska and spent the day taking in the beautiful glaciers in Glacier Bay National Park.

We shared with you some of the challenges we had along the way to help you with your own road trip planning. Unexpected things happen on any trip, even if you plan down to the smallest detail. It's Murphy's law, right?  We hope you enjoy our post '10 Bumps Along the Way: Road Trip Nightmares!' (Remember to check back the third Sunday of every month for more travel tips from us.)

We continued to share our posts on our road trip across Canada, and hope you are all enjoying those posts and videos.

We met up with our good friend and she cooked up a delicious dinner. We wish we had her on the cruise with us! She is by far one of the best cooks out there.

We both headed back to work after a lovely little holiday. The weather is starting to change and we can really feel the winter season is around the corner.

We are trying to save money at the moment, as we don't really know what we are doing at this point. We decided to make sushi, as it is much cheaper to eat at home, than at a restaurant. We were also able to have this sushi two nights in a row and we still have materials to make more later! If you would like to see some of our money saving meal ideas let us know!

We are still having a great response from our Spotlight Series. Continuing with Vancouver Island, we published our newest post. 'Spotlight' series is posted on the fourth Sunday of every month. This month, we take you on a day trip to Parksville surrounding area. 'Girls Day: Parksville Beach, Coombs, and Englishmen River Falls'

As we say goodbye to September we are welcomed into October with beautiful autumn leaves and fresh crisp air. One of our favourite seasons of the year.
