Ghost Bus Tours of London
Before leaving the UK we decided to spend our final days in London checking out the city one last time. When we were looking for stuff we might like to do in London while we were there we saw some ads for the Ghost Bus Tour. We got some tickets and our friends that we met at the Foxhall Vegan B&B in the Lake District joined us as well.
We had never been on a bus tour of London before but this wasn't just another bus tour since it was a scary Ghost Bus driving us around.
The Ghost Bus Tour is great because they show you around the sights of London telling you about the dark side and all the frightening things that have happened in London throughout it's history. There is plenty of crazy stories.
The bus looked awesome and we had perfect mood lighting for all the scary stuff going on. The guide was great and there was a storyline and scary stuff would happen just as you let your guard down.
There was also a lot of laughs as the show was not only creepy but also quite hilarious. London was really cool to see at night especially for a Ghost Bus Tour.
After the tour we managed to get a picture with some of the crazy characters. We were smiling but they we still very much in character. Thank guys. We enjoyed the Ghost Bus Tour a lot. If you're in London and looking for a bus tour that's a bit out of the ordinary and looking for a bit of a show than the Ghost Bus Tour is the way to go. The also run tours in Edinburgh and York.
Afterwards we had some coffee with our friends and then took a quick selfie together to remember the night by. Hopefully we meet again someday. I'm sure we will.
Have you ever been on a Ghost Bus tour? Or a scary tour of a city before? Did you enjoy it?

DeleteThat sounds like a fun way to explore the city!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was a lot of fun!
DeleteAnd it looks like it was rainy, so I bet that added to the atmosphere as well. I love London so much, glad that you got to explore it!
ReplyDeleteWe love London too! So much to do. Yeah, the stormy weather added to the mix well.
DeleteWow interesting topic, I went to a scary tour in Amsterdam. But to be honest the scariest experiences were traveling solo in dangerous countries, not because of the countries themselves but because of my ignorance and lack of preparation
ReplyDeleteIf you like different traveling stories check out this talented photographer's story who was courageous enough to visit dangerous parts of Caracas, Venezuela, to find the beauty in between the danger and poverty: http://www.mundusurfer.com/the-two-faces-of-human-materialism.html
Very cool. We also went on scary tours in Seattle, USA and Edinburgh, Scotland.
DeleteI wish you would have told us more about the specifics of the tour. How long did it take? How much did it cost? What were some of the most memorable stories that were told?
ReplyDeleteIt was about £20 a ticket. The tour was about an hour and a half. They told us the story about how and who the bus was haunted with!! Dun dun duuuuh
DeleteThe amount of times I travel through central London at night after work and I have never seen the Ghost Bus tours. Must be a new start up. Any details on this company?
