Bristol Veg Fest UK

It's been quite a while since we've posted anything on the blog but we really didn't do much in the way of travelling recently since we were both busy either working or trying to find a job.

Anyway, this is a blog post about our very fun trip to Bristol. We booked a return ticket to Bristol on our favourite way to travel...the Mega Bus! Mega indeed. We had to get to Birmingham city centre at 8:10am to catch our Mega Bus and we nearly missed it since for some reason we didn't bother to check the city bus schedule. Luckily we ran after a bus, not even knowing if it was a bus that went to city centre, and the bus driver was nice enough to stop for us. Turns out it was the right bus to catch and we made it to Bristol!

Generally the more in advance you can book your tickets the cheaper they are. They always sell the first seat for £1. The Mega bus is super easy to book online with and they run all over the world. You can even show the driver the confirmation email on your p…

Hiking Along the Canal

Today we decided to check out the canals of Birmingham. First we walked towards city centre to Brindleyplace and walked along the canal back to our house.

Two Week Summary.

If you missed last month's post, find it here: "The New Neighbourhood."
We know we have been absent for a few weeks on the blog. We have been job hunting and trying to settle into our lives here in England. We have not done a lot of exploring, but here is an update. We had internet installed on April 20th. It took about 2 weeks to get internet set up. They mailed us a router, then it took another 4 days to for them to flip the switch. Since we got the internet we have been booking an amazing trip for the summer... stay tuned.
