"It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!"
One of the unique attractions of Birmingham is walking along the canals. People don't often realise that Birmingham has more canals than Venice. It's fun to take a walk along the canals and see the boats and businesses along the canal side. Check it out and make sure to visit the canals next time you're in Birmingham.

The canals are really cool! I had no idea there were more there than in Venice.

DeleteIt's a bold move. Not everyone can just up root and go to a different country and choose to live there for 2 years. I think it's really nice that you shared these adventures with us. It looks like Birmingham is an awesome place!

DeleteI've never been to Birmingham but after reading your posts, it sure would be nice to pay a visit. I love that it's easy to find vegan food there! It's packed with things to do and see as well.

DeleteLooks like fun! I lived in Scotland for a year for school, but wasn't able to travel much. Next trip out there, I'll have to make a stop here!

DeleteIt looks beautiful! I visited Venice last fall and I was sure it was the city with most canals. How interesting - I need to visit someday.

DeleteI didn't know about the canals! That's really cool! I would love to visit Birmingham next time that I am in England. I am so glad that you found such a huge vegan scene there, I think that's what I would be most afraid of going somewhere I didn't know.
