Burgers, Bowling, Bournemouth.

By now we had pretty much seen all there was to see in Ferndown. Bournemouth is close by so we went there for the day to do some shopping and have some fun.
Bournemouth shopping strip.
We headed out to the shops in Bournemouth. We did a little shopping, and I bought a throw blanket for our new flat. They call the main shopping street the High Street in the UK. We discovered Primark which is like Urban Planet back in Canada only the quality of the clothes in much much better. It's between Urban Planet and H&M in terms of quality.

Tried on some silly glasses.

After we shopped we headed over to the bowling alley. We met another couple there and the six of us had some lunch and bowled two games. We like bowling. Bowling seemed to be a regular activity for us back in our hometown as we lived near a couple bowling alleys.

We ordered a spicy bean burger. The burgers in the bowling alley come with no sauce on them anyway, so we didn't need to modify our order. We didn't expect to find vegan food at a bowling alley but it was a pleasant surprise.

The burger was lovely, the patty was moist so I didn't find that I needed to add any sauce to it anyway. Good job bowling alley!
After we ate we played two games. We didn't need to wear bowling shoes. You only need to rent them if your shoes scuff the floor.

After we bowled we went over to the arcade area. I took these two photo's for one of our special blog readers. <3 Look at all these frozen stuffies you could win. It was 30p a turn.

After we played at the arcade we headed back to the house to pack our stuff and get ready. We are leaving Dorset tomorrow. We are headed north, stay tuned to find out where we end up.

  3. Looks like you guys had a great time! I used to love bowling when I was younger, but I haven't been in years. I suppose that's alright though - liking it certainly didn't make me GOOD at it.

  6. That is awesome that the bowling alley had vegan options. I never would have thought that they would, considering all the bowling ally here are riddled with fattier options. You look like you had so much fun! Safe journeys!

  7. What a great find, vegan burgers at a bowling alley!! I love bowling, too, but am really bad at it! I was much better when my kids were little and we were "allowed" to have the bumpers up, lol. Bumpers make me a much better bowler :)
